How to set up optimization strategy

1. Go to “Configuration”

2. Click on “General Management ”

3. Click on “Functionalities”

Here we can define the parameters to configure the route optimization strategy . 

Multiple optimization strategies can be defined per agency and/or groups of agencies. To create a new optimization strategy we just have to click on the dashed rectangle with the (+) in the center. Next, the configuration pop-up will open. 

Among the parameters to configure we find: 

• Configuration Name: It is the name of the optimization strategy that we are creating. You can call it according to the area or the agencies to which this strategy applies. 

• Agency(ies): To which agencies and/or groups of agencies this setting applies. Agencies that are not added to any listing will give an optimization error as they do not have any strategy as a reference. 

• Stopping Time [min]: Time in minutes that elapses from when the driver stops his vehicle until he gets back on it to continue with his route once the expedition is completed.
   ? Remember that, if you have configured the minimum resources strategy and we assign a stop time to a vehicle, it is prioritized over the general stop time of the strategy. This way you can “play” with different stop times.

• Warehouse time [min]: Time in minutes spent in the warehouse when the driver recharges for second or third routes.

• Strategy (of optimization):

• Deliver as fast as possible

• Deliver using the minimum of resources

• States: By default, the optimizer optimizes all expeditions that are in the “Created” state. If you want to optimize some other status, such as, for example, certain incidents from the day before for which we have only changed the delivery date (without changing its status), we can do so: absent, closed, wrong address, etc.

  • Option to include incidents.

  • Option to limit the optimization of expeditions with more than “X” delivery attempts. For example, after 3 IEs, I do not optimize the delivery since it will not be delivered again.  

• Priorities: Linear or logarithmic

⚠️ The dynamic optimizer cannot be configured from the front-end of the domain, if you are interested in activating the automatic optimizer in any of your agencies, contact your admin at Vonzu.
