Statuses allow you to identify what is happening with an order. This is one of the most customizable parts of Vonzu.
There are 4 mandatory statuses that cannot be edited or deleted. These are basic statuses:
Created
Assigned to a driver
Delivery
Completed
From here, we can create as many statuses as we need.
Go to the section of “Settings”
Click on “States”
Click on “+ Create Status”
Add an identifier code and a name. (As you identify it)
Click on “Create”
Example: We create a status with the name “Absent” and categorize it as an incident in the checkbox so that it appears in the app as such.
How to customize statuses
Once the status is created, we can customize it like this:
Inside “Settings” -> “States”
Select the status that you have previously created and want to configure
Choose the Color
we can differentiate different sets of statuses with a same color. The color is defined by means of an HTML code, so that we can choose any tonality. For example, to create an issue we can use the red color #FF0000.
3 configuration checks: by marking them we change their status.
Incidence. All the statuses labeled as an incident will be displayed in the mobile app and, therefore, in the event that a package cannot be delivered, the driver will be able to select one of these statuses as the reason for the failed delivery.
end state. For example, a stolen package. I am not going to recover that package, so the status "Theft" will be final and to have a new shipment I will have to generate a new reference for a new package.
Delivery attempt. This information will be available in your shipping list, you can use it to filter packages with X delivery attempts and you can even define a maximum number of delivery attempts when you have to optimize routes.
Translations
They are necessary in case of using the domain in another language, including the mobile app. Currently, by default, we have Spanish, French, English and Portuguese available.
To which types of shipments does the
Delivery, collection and/or task status apply, depending on the type of shipments you deal with in your domain: parcels, services, etc.
State
stage This is the stage at which the state can occur. This stage is related to the order tracking page that you can make available to your final recipient. For each status we can select the name of which stage you want to be displayed on the tracking page or if, otherwise, you prefer not to be displayed.
A clear example is the status of "Theft" that you may not want the final recipient to see as an incident, in which case we would select "Do not show on the public page".
