Delivery is a critical point in a user's overall shopping experience, which is why, thanks to our real-time tracking, we keep the user informed at all times about the status of their order and increase the brand recognition of our products. customers and partners. 


To configure your communication rules you can do it from the Communications section:

  1. Go to “Settings” 

  2. General Management --> Communications. From here you can create, consult, edit, disable and delete your communication rules. 


White label settings cannot be done from this section. You need to contact your Vonzu administrator to manage it. 


Create communication


rules Communication rules determine when your customers (end recipient or B2B customer) will be notified by email or SMS of an update on the status of their order. We can create the rules that we consider necessary and edit them whenever we want. 


To create a communication rule: 


  1. From “Settings > General management > Communications

  2. Click on " “ at the top right

  3. Fill in the required fields 

  4. Click on “Create” 




Fields to fill in: 


 Name of the rule: We can choose the name of the change For example: “Email In Delivery”, “Email Incident” or “SMS Completed”


Change of status:

The communication rule will be applied when an expedition changes from status 1 to status 2. 


1. In the state 1 you will be able to:

  1. Choose “any state”: an email will be sent whenever an expedition passes from any state to the chosen state 2.

  2. Choose a specific state: in this case, an email will only be sent when an expedition specifically passes from the state 1 to the chosen state 

2. 2. State 2 must always be selected. 


Remember that these states must be previously created in the Configuration < States section.



About the Expedition

Type of expedition: Select if it is a to dispatch of type Delivery or Collection

Client / Logistics operator / Agency: 

  • If nothing is selected, it applies to all clients and/or logistics operators or agency/s, also including those added to the domain in the future.

  • If only some are selected from the dropdown: Applies only to those in the selection.

  • option is "select all, it will be applied to all those clients and/or logistics operators or agency/s that are created at that time in the domain, excluding those added later.

Recipients

Here we can select to whom the email linked to the communication rule will be sent. 

  1. Select Group: We choose the group to which we will send the notification: Final Recipient, Client, Admin… In this case, the email will be sent to all the users of the same group. 
    * If you only want to send to the final recipient without internal emails (admins) we only have to select "Final recipient".

  2. Select Recipient: We will configure this option if we want to send the emails to a Vonzu back office user (for internal notifications). We only have to mark the check of the specific user to whom we want to notify the status changes. 




Template


We select which text template (previously entered into the system by the Vonzu team) we want to use in this notification. We can send notifications by email or SMS, therefore, it is necessary to mark the checkbox ✅ of one or another option and select the template from the dropdown. 


?The names of the templates that you will have available in your domain will be provided to you by your Vonzu administrator. 



Editing rules    


By clicking on the three points at the top right of each created rule we can:

  • Edit the rule: Clicking will open a pop-up like the one for creating the rule, where we can modify the previously configured fields. 

  • Disable: Selecting this option will stop sending the notifications linked to this rule. 

  • Delete: Select to delete the communication rule. 



In the list of communication rules we can see, for each rule: 

  • Name of the rule

  • Status: If the rule is enabled or disabled

  • Customers: Number of customers to whom this communication rule applies / Total customers

  • Logistics operators: Number of logistics operators to whom this communication rule applies / Total logistics operators

  • Recipient: Number of recipients to whom this communication rule applies / Total recipients 

  • Agency: Number of agencies to which this communication rule applies / Total agencies

  • Email/SMS: Template used in the Email or SMS notification
